Dr. Justine MacLean Legge, Ph.D., L.Psych. (she/her)
Dr. MacLean Legge is a Licensed Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of New Brunswick. She completed a Master of Arts and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manitoba.
Dr. MacLean Legge works with children, youth, adults, and families. She has experience working with clients with anxiety and mood concerns, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma and stress, and problems with family dynamics. She also works with parents of young children with sleep, toileting, and emotional and behavioural concerns, such as separation anxiety and emotion regulation challenges. When working with children and adolescents, her approach to therapy is based on knowledge of family systems and attachment and integrates emotion-focused approaches. With adolescents and adults, she primarily uses a cognitive-behavioural therapy called acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Her work focuses on helping individuals lead more fulfilling lives in line with their values. |
